is this game fun? to an Addictive extent (i literally just stayed up until 6am playing it)
does it also include heavy-handed anti-communist perspectives? unfortunately, yes.
did they make a convincing argument against it? absolutely not. fell flat on its face.
i built a city in which every single citizen's needs were met. the hungry were fed. the sick were treated. the amputated were given new limbs. the cold were given warm homes (yes, even during the Peak of the final storm). i didn't even need to silence the masses or terrorize them into compliance, i didn't cover up poetry that criticized my regime, nor did i hurt or kill people that threatened the status quo.

my Only regret is needing to make use of many 24 hour emergency shifts, as i never had the opportunity to build an automaton.

at the end of the first story, the one i just completed, a cinematic displayed the evolution of my city.
it ended on the words "your city survived, but at what cost?" after repremanding me for building watchtowers that citizens Wanted, a propaganda house that gave people hope when they had None, and a prison to keep literal Vandals, Thieves and Murderers.

at what cost did my city survive? that's a good question. was it people's freedom of expression? uhhhh No. the cost was occasionally having to work for 24 hours straight. because the world was Ending and we were all gonna die if the work didn't get done.

the storytellers don't seem to care about violating workers' rights, though

is this a helpful review of the game known as Frostpunk?
nah i don't think so. i just pulled an all-nighgter and i chose to take a dump on this story's ending because i thought it was Stoopid and should've been better written.

do i think frostpunk is a game Not worth playing? hell no this ♥♥♥♥ was still so much fun. oh how i love feeding the hungry and giving warm homes to the poor.
i think the real world should work like that too. minus the. occasional 24 hour emergency shifts.
good fecken thing we already have automata ready to pick up some the work.

if by chance someone is actually reading this rant all the way through, i would like to apologize for any broken grammar, sentence structure and/or choice of words that make me sound insane. that's because yesterday night i got drunk at an 18th birthday party. take a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sip, babes.
