To any prospective associates, I should disclose that I am currently wanted in fifteen counties of the state of Colorado for murder, assaulting a justice of the peace, raping a virgin of the white race, rape of a virgin of the black race, derailing a train in order to rob the passengers, highway robbery, breaking out of state prison, armed robbery of an unknown amount citizens, state banks and post offices; the theft of sacred objects, arson in a state prison, perjury, bigamy, deserting my wife and children, promoting prostitution, inciting prostitution, blackmail, intention of selling fugitive slaves, kidnapping, extortion, receiving stolen goods, selling stolen goods, passing counterfeit money, the misrepresentation of myself as a General of the Mexican Army, illegally drawing the salaries and living allowances of members of the United States Army, and contrary to the laws of this state, I am also wanted for the usage of marked cards and loaded dice.
