➤ This is all my personal opinion so take everything i say with a grain of salt.
➤ But TLDR : Yes, the game is worth it, but if you are on the fence wait until it is on sale.

➤ I could gush about this game for hours upon hours but I've tried to concentrate the things that make the game good down into 3 categories. Amazing story variety, unique gameplay, and great storytelling.

➤ The amount of customization in this game is insane, whether that be on your avatar or the choices you take.
➤ There are seemingly infinite ways to approach a quest. From talking your way out to burning down the building and taking everything for yourself.
➤ The quality and quantity of endings is astounding, leaving you curious as to what else could have happened.

➤ The combat, needless to say, is great. The weapon/spell/item diversity within the game lends itself to allowing the player to use everything to their advantage, ie scrolls, potions, and even bombs.
➤ You can customize your characters to no end, from the most powerful of Arch-mages to the strongest of barbarians.
➤ While there is a pretty standard formula to a fight (hit something until it dies), there also are many ways to use the environment, which keeps almost every fight interesting.

➤ As a sucker for story games, this game satisfies on every front. From romance, friendships, and the most heated rivalries are written to perfection.
➤ The Narrator (in my opinion) is a great way to explain the decisions presented without expecting the player to know everything going on.
➤ Maybe I just got to invested but the ending had me feeling bittersweet over people who don't exist.

➤ As much as I could sing this games praises, it is not perfect.
➤ The biggest one is just personal preferences, like if you are not into story games, don't buy this game at full price or ever.
➤ There are also certain instances within the storyline that lock you out of certain questlines.
- SPOILER !!!! Like how speaking with Isobel in the last light inn can potentially lock you out of continuing Karlach's quest

➤ If you are a lover of story rich games, especially those of the DND variety, I couldn't recommend this game enough.
➤ This is a very long game by most standards, so be prepared to sink some time into it if you wish to complete it.

This has to be one of my favorite games, and i'm going to drop all my thoughts about it here.

Pros:
➤ I think this game has some of the most unique gameplay that is currently on the market, making your own builds and using different exotics is what keeps me playing.
➤The lore, albeit sometimes confusing, is and always has kept me interested in the future of destiny
➤Raids, Dungeons, and all end-game activities are so satisfying to do.
➤Getting the god-roll of a weapon you love and building a collection satisfies my monkey brain.
➤The seasonal events (dawning, festival of the lost, guardian games) are a nice calming break to the grind.

Cons:
➤The game isn't very new player friendly, you go through the new light stuff and are just kinda told to have fun. All the different vendors and activities can be confusing to new players.
➤Although the game is free, it basically has a subscription model. If you want access to any of the new activities, you gotta fork over about $10 every season to access them. (that combined with the $60 major campaign update every year or so)
➤Imo, I think that after 3/4 of the season has passed, a bit of a content drought happens, where there is seemingly nothing to do.
➤Grinding for hours on end to get a decent roll can be draining at times.

If you new and going to play d2, I'd reccomend looking up a basic guide to everything in d2. ( This video is super helpful) It all might seem overwhelming at first but you will get the hang of it.
