I haven't played Strange Telephone yet, either, but I did play a similar game called Dreaming Sarah (also sidescrolling), and that was pretty good. Fez was really good, too, but I'm sure you've heard of that. I hear that; my backlog is ridiculous, too! Right now, I'm working on my mountain of GOG titles; my Steam backlog is more-or-less caught up, since Steam isn't my main platform.

I'm not really that big on multiplayer stuff, myself; got really used to being self-sufficient growing up, and I guess that's just stuck with me all these years. I'm mostly into Action-Adventure - stuff like your Zeldas, your Metroids, your Terranigmas, etc. - but I also like 2D Platformers, and Adventure, whether it's Point-and-Click, first-person, or whatever else. I play a variety of stuff, but in a game, I like to fight and explore; RPG elements welcome.
