Highly recommend this game! It's a good game for anyone who loves motocross, OR if you're just someone looking for a new challenge. It's pretty difficult and it's nothing like the various arcade games on the market. The bike set ups are the most important aspect of the game, as every thing can be tuned so you can adjust to the various tracks and riding styles. The games physics are the main focus, and while they're not perfect, they still feel really smooth most of the time. If you've played MX Simulator, then you understand the learning curve to it. MX Bikes is very similar, however it's not QUITE as difficult to learn.

The game is also really fun with friends. Even if you're all bad at the game, it's still a blast to get in a server together and just ride. It's also good for meeting friends as well.

| PROS |
- Simple and easy to use UI
- Good bike physics
- Adjustable bike settings and controller settings to fit your strengths and weaknesses
- Mod Support (it's also pretty easy to make your own mods for the game with a little time and effort)
- Decent Replay system with the ability to save replays
- Trainer or "Ghost Rider" that tracks your fastest lap on each track, allowing you to race yourself and improve your lap times each time around the track.
- The bike sounds are probably the best I've heard in any MX game. They're not perfect but still ready clean and they actually sound like dirtbikes instead of old chainsaws. (looking at you Milestone)
- Pretty simple multiplayer mode with servers you can hop in for racing or Open Practice where everyone just practices on the selected track. The multiplayer scene in this game will only improve over time in my opinion, as it's the best part of the game.
- Freestyle tricks! But disclaimer, some of the animations for a few of the tricks are a little jank lmao (mainly just the Superman. You just plank out like a board). Hopefully these get updated overtime. Regardless, watching my friend up a backflip superman over the finish line is both cool and hilarious at the same time.
- Gesture system. This is small and probably doesn't need review but it's still cool to express your displeasure with a head shake when someone takes out your front wheel.

| CONS |
- Sometimes the bike can feel a little weird. The physics are good 95% of the time and then boom, you've flown off the track after skating sideways.
- I feel like it's too easy to wheelie the bike and fall backwards sometimes. This may not even be an issue with the game, I might just suck at it idk. It can be hard to keep the front end down, even when you're feathering the throttle. Just takes some getting use to.
- This one is really subjective, but the cornering physics aren't the best in my opinion. They're solid, however if you get stuck having to take the inside during a race, you better be comfortable on your brakes or you'll probably tip over. This could also just be my lack of skill in the game, but I find it pretty difficult to spin the back tire and turn the bike on a dime when taking the inside. So take that with a grain of salt.

Overall this game is super fun, fun to make mods and graphics for, and fun to play with friends or even random people in the servers. My buddy and I started playing at about the same time, and it's crazy to see how differently we ride. You can be fast and loose in this game, or you be super crisp and consistent. Everyone has a different set up and rides with a different style, and the game really allows that to work. I probably left a lot of things out but either way this game is fun and really challenging. Not perfect but still getting updated and has a ton of potential, the more people that play it and support it.
