Barotrauma is an amazing game which I have already sunk 150+ hours into with the addition of buying it for a friend. It is a survival game with a campaign that can be played solo with bot crew mates or in multiplayer servers or with friends. The game takes place on the moon Europa as you all live in the oceans below the frozen surface in an attempt to survive the jovian radiation produced by Jupiter. Because of this the game is an underwater survival game where you man a submarine venturing through the depths to reach underwater stations and cities to restock on supplies and weapons as well as getting missions and new crew mates. But things aren't as safe as they seem in the dark depths of Europa as alien creatures lurk waiting to tear through the hulls of your ship at a moments notice. The game has multiple biome you can travel through during your journey and the game is very teamwork based. It can be hard to learn at first as the game has a ton of different mechanics from mining, crafting, medical, submarine upgrades, and even character leveling with character upgrades. The game even has a submarine editor that can be hard to learn but you can spend hundreds of hours creating submarines to use during campaigns or you can just download one from the workshop. The game is still in Early access and they have just released an update to give it a better tutorial. The game also has a ton of mods on the steam workshop to improve your experience. Also I don't really know how to describe how the game looks as it is 3rd person but you are watching from the side like a sort of 2D game. I highly recommend the game so get it while it is on sale some time.
