Many in the U.S. look at animation from a very lofty position that peaks at the top of their nose and ends somewhere around the size of an 8 year old. We will gladly watch hours of Kim Kardashian, Duck Dynasty, and Honey Boo Boo, but put on even the best of some animated show and you will frequently get “Oh I don’t like cartoons.”
