Well, there are a lot of games on steam that make promises like "inspired by games like Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy VI". These games lie, they are often just generic, boring and devoid of all effort.

But not EInlanzer!

This game really lives up to those expectations. It is equal in length and depth, and it's developer has put a lot of effort into it. Since I bought the game, there have already been two seasonal events, which is very rare for rpg-maker games, and there might be more, so they care a lot about their game. If this was realeased in the 90th, I'm sure it had been a huge success! So I definitely recommend this game to any old-school rpg fan. It's in fact one of the best rpg-maker games I ever played.
