This game is genuinely one of the best games of this generation. I really wish we got piggy poggy pog 2 announced at e3 but unfortunately not all dreams come true.

The way we follow the journey of the intricately made character Poggy is amazing. So much character development as we jump across the platforms collecting acorns so that we can help Poggy escape his inevitable slaughter. You really feel pain and you feel bad for him when he jumps on one of those disgusting spike traps. I love the way that when he dies, he continues to move for up to 5 seconds after death. This symbolises the complex cadaveric spasm, also known as postmortem spasm. This is when a persons muscles stiffen up at death and in the short time after death. This is most often caused by violent deaths with lots of intense emotion. Now, I don't know about you but I definitely experienced some extremely intense emotion every time Poggy violently got impaled by those spikes so no doubt he would experience a cadaveric spasm as his body deals with this tragic moment. I cried every time he failed to complete his quest through each level.

Now it's time to talk about music. The music in this game is ♥♥♥♥ing wonderful. The way it fails to play symbolises the way my heart fails to operate at a normal speed while I'm playing such an intense game. I like the part of the final level where the song isn't playing.

Overall, this is definitely one of the best. The price tag isn't high (which is weird because this is a triple a game) and it doesn't take much time to learn. The emotions this game conveys and the symbolisation of real life things is nothing short of genius. However, I will say it's not for the faint of heart. This game is extremely violent especially when Poggy gets stabbed by the spikes. If you can't handle this sort of stuff then you shouldn't play this game. Despite this, I do hope we get to experience another adventure with Poggy in the near future.

This is the best game on Steam. Well done TSS studio, you did it again.
