Realms Of Magic Modifications
:benoitmm2: For those who are already playing, and those yet to play, you are viewing the building of a town with castle and defenses using items not normally available in the game. Modifying scripts within the game which the development team left for programmers like myself to familiarize ourselves with the game system , was able to put these buildings and animations together. For safety reasons, I have not put in anything into the game world that has not already been used somewhere else. This is because those items have not been fully completed and anyone who requests my modifications, I have no problems giving copies away. I will use Pastebin for the script modifications to save you the hassle of accidentally typing in the wrong information, but need a reliable place to put storage files, which will contain a complete copy of not just my castle town when completed, but also just about every available tile in game which is approximately 45k of each item. :cybereye:
:magiccircle: Most changes will only take effect on new characters. Let me fore warn you now, it is highly inadvisable to build in towns and dungeons. This is because the game is constantly getting updated, and those locations will be getting updates, which will over-write what ever you place there meaning all work will be lost. For now I highly recommend building in the field where you start after finishing the tutorial.

I highly recommend not playing this game, or even buying it. Youll be most likely severly disapointed. Its not even in EA status, but seems the developement team treat the game as if it is, as if its like a multiplayer game when in fact its single player. I deleted my old recommendation because at the time I posted it, the game was great, and next to no issues. Spent many hours as you can see playing this game building up inventories, making just about every item available in game, built bases all over with workbenches of every type to make it easy so as not to have to go jumping through a lot of maps, as it gets annoying having to load up each one as it gets explored.
Reason for the negative review, the developement team got it into their heads, to remove items most likely to balance the game more. This isnt a multi player game, and having spent hours building things to have them deleted with no compensation, its just disgusting. I really want to say a few 4 letter words in regards to this as Im so furiouse.
Dont waste your money on this title. I can understand if they update the game with new items, and things to make it more interesting, but to delete extremely hard to make things because they want to balance a non EA game over 2 years after leaving EA status. well you get my point.

I'm interested in the editor details you found for Balrum... wish this game had a randomly created world.

After I quit playing Ultima Online back in 2004, which was the last pay per month service I was subscribed to, basically stopped being a reporter and took on another line of work with my familys first baby on the way. No time for games and wasnt till my own kids started playing them that I got involved again

in reviews and reporting, but stayed only with single or multi player games the player ran, not the monthly fee based. Games for the pc basically dont come in boxes you buy in the store anymore which is convenient as no line wait on new titles. But now the game market is getting as frustrating with single player games as with multiplayer. Back in my time, you play a single player game, you save and come back and continue where you left off. Now a days you can spend 100 hours on a game and come back months later because a game was treated like multi player and patched for balancing which in my case broke my game I listed in a bad review. I never made a backup of the game itself or id have reverted to older version. But right now it just irks me not even single player games are safe and hours spent are lost because the developers decide to delete items from your own pc.
