Special Containment Procedures:

Description:
SCP-4132 is a wedge of pepper jack cheese, weighing approximately 1.2 kg. The cheese appears visually ordinary but emits a faint, untraceable vibration detectable only by sensitive equipment. When within a 3-meter radius of SCP-4132, individuals report an overwhelming craving for spicy foods, accompanied by vivid hallucinations of melting faces and burning hands. These symptoms intensify the longer a subject remains near SCP-4132.

If SCP-4132 is exposed to temperatures exceeding 20°C, it begins to sweat an oily substance. This liquid, designated SCP-4132-1, rapidly spreads across surfaces and displays sentient behavior, attempting to engulf nearby organic material. Any organism coming into contact with SCP-4132-1 will experience spontaneous calcification of their internal organs within 60 seconds, leading to death.

The origins of SCP-4132 are currently unknown, but it was recovered from a local artisan cheese festival in ████████, California, following reports of mass hallucinations and deaths attributed to "spicy possession."

Addendum 4132-A:
During a recent experiment, SCP-4132 was subjected to brief exposure to ultraviolet light. The substance emitted by SCP-4132-1 revealed a previously hidden message etched into the cheese:

"The spice knows your fear."

Analysis of the etching's chemical composition suggests non-terrestrial origin. Investigation is ongoing.
