Pretty Girls Mahjong Solitaire [BLUE] is a Mahjong game featuring five waifus.

Strategically match and remove tiles layer-by-layer from a surprisingly complex (and generally fast-paced) puzzle. It's not as easy as selecting two matching tiles; the rules of Mahjong only allow unobstructed tiles with the left or right edge exposed to be matched. It's not hard to match yourself into an unsolvable situation, forcing you to redo the puzzle with a freshly re-rolled board. Going into this game, I hadn't a clue what a "Mahjong" was. Despite my incompetency, I didn't have too much trouble completing the first ten puzzles (though I did fail several times.)

There are five characters in the game; Yu Kunukawa, a student; Ohka Sakuraka, a friendly gal; Asahi, a hardworking gal; Neit, a goddess; and Riche, a demon king queen. From the student to demon queen, the cast isn't without diversity. . . but none of this information is divulged in-game. The Store page has more lore than the game!

Considering each character only has a sentence of lore, you'd think the developers could have written it in the game!

The titlescreen is super fancy, though it's more fitting for a fantasy or sci-fi adventure. The user-interface is decent, and the in-game visuals are serviceable. From "Option", you may adjust audio, display, graphical, and language preferences. You can view a brief tutorial at any time while playing a level, just in case you need a recap on the rules.

I'll quote the developers, This is a puzzle game with sexy characters (no nudity). I purchased this game under the impression that there would be nudity, given the "sexual content" tag it possessed (at the time I purchased it.) I guess. . . I should have actually read the store description.

I recommend this game for the game, and not the "sexy characters" as advertised. If you like Mahjong, or you want to try out Mahjong, and aren't concerned with nudity of sexual content, you may enjoy this game. I found Pretty Girls Mahjong Solitaire to be a competent title, even if Mahjong isn't my cup of tea. I don't think I'll be playing an Mahjong on my own volition anytime soon, but now I know. If anyone invites me a game of Mahjong, I think I'll pass.
