HENTAI DANCE is monotonous rhythm game with no hentai.

There are nine stages, which range from "easy" to "hard" difficulty. They must be completed in order. Each feature a new music track, but visually, they are all the same. After selecting a stage, a series of moving, directional arrows will appear on screen. The goal to press the keys that match the arrows on screen, when they enter a designated spot (indicated by a circle). You can "miss" up to three times, a fourth time constituting a game-over.

This game is very, very easy until you reach the "hard" stages. There, you will encounter a series of bomb-icons. If a key pressed too close to a bomb, you rack-up a mistake. Whether or not I passed a hard stage seemed to be dictated by luck. It felt like that even though I was pressing the right keys at the right time, the game kept assigning mistakes to me. The game wasn't terribly fun to begin with, but the game abruptly stopping being fun here.

There is no story, so I'll make one up. You play as some crazy dancin' lady, and you're the voice in her head. Those arrows you smash represent her dance moves, and if she makes too mistakes, she gets booted from the show. But here's the catch. She never listens to you, because there was never a show to begin with.

I'm [/i]pretty sure[/i] I've seen one or more models from this game in other games. What that tells me is that we have another asset flip on our hands. But that's okay, because assets are expensive, and good gameplay outweighs reused assets. There is one stage, and one girl. The girl looks good, and the rest looks meh. The animations are poor, and the girl's feet and hair regularly clip through the floor and her body. Did anyone play test this before release?

I'm under the impression that this is a "meme" game, given the. . . wonderful animations.

This game is cheap rhythm game, and it shows. If you're not on a single dollar budget, I'd invest into a higher quality game. It'll probably have more hentai too.

I'm curious where the actual model came from. I wonder, is there some obscure Unity store with these (now widespread) models? If I ever learn how to create and edit models, perhaps generic anime girls would be wise subjects, hah.

also neast fact, she just doesnt have gentials, and her boobs are fused together.
that's in games where the dves figured out hwo to remove the meshes

Thank you for the links. I've seen the same models across more titles than what you have listed, and I have grown familiar with her over time. It's like (default) RPGMaker sprites, which run rampant in low budget RPGMaker titles.

hey wombat, the rabbit hole on this game, and particualrly, thew girl asset being usedf- is quite deep.
I'll give you a line here, take it down the rabbit hole if you will.
