Hazumi and the Pregnation is a unique RPG about prostitution and childbirth. While prostitution isn't inherently unique, this game's take on the matter is.

This not a traditional RPG, where you prance around and smash generic orcs n' slimes. Instead, you manage money and fertility. By selling the protagonist's body (and performing odd jobs), you earn money. Money is used to purpose a wide variety of useful items and services, which can be used to increase (sexual) stats and unlock new options.

The "charm" stat influences the quality of work you find and what you're payed. Charm can be increased by "remodeling", or acquiring (and placing) decorations and furniture for Hazumi's house. The "remodel" mode can be accessed via the menu screen. You can also increase charm with apparel and books, both found across multiple stores. From Hazumi's home, she can "fast travel" anywhere in town she pleases. New areas are discovered by chatting with NPCs, so talk to everyone.

To obtain work, you can hit-up the "Dating Site" on Hazumi's phone. From there, you can take your pick of gig, each paying different amounts (and entailing a variety of likes and dislikes). When meeting with clients, you can play (or skip) a sexual minigame. The idea is to select a series of sexual acts that the client will enjoy, based on their "Dating Site" portfolio. Each sexual act consumes a set amount of time, and the minigame is adjourned with the timer reaches "zero". If you don't want to bang for bucks, you can find work busing food and stocking shelves.

But the pay sucks.

Anytime Hazumi comes into contact with sperm, it is carefully documented under her "Status" section (found on her phone). In addition, her period is also kept track of, which will influence her receptiveness to pregnancy. Should she become pregnant, her body and stats will dramatically change over time. These changes can be good or bad, but you can offset the bad using purchasable items.

There's another stat called "AP", which I assume to be "Action Points". These are a precious resource, and are expended during work. The easiest (and cheapest) way to increase your AP is to eat three meals a day, so hit-up the "Convenience Store" often. It's important to sleep regularly (to restore lost AP). You can also gain additional AP with remodeling items, such as a "Clock" or improved beds.

Hazumi is a poor student of the National Institute. So poor, she nearly ends up broke buying one chocolate bar. Apparently, prostitution is the go-to source of income for women, supported by the government. They "take custody" of children, relieving hardworking, sexually active students of their burdens. Not only that, but they all pay quite a bit for their young! That's about as much story as this game provides.

I don't recall seeing a main menu. The game started instantly, though you can save and reload previous games. Most of the sprites appear to RPGMaker defaults, though one or more have been modified. The in-game menu is accessed via phone interface, which I've never seen before in an RPGMaker title. The "apps" looked blurry, but I thought that is was a cool lil' menu.

- The Goods -
Each time you visit a client, you view (static) images which are modified to fit the scene. From insertions to money shots, you can expect to see lots of juicy female-on-male action. As the protagonist becomes increasingly pregnant, the sexual scenes reflect the changes of her body. Her portrait and outfits also reflect her pregnancy state. The artwork is high quality, but censored around the genitalia (which is a real shame).

This is a novel game. It's rough around the edges, and not as full of lewd imagery as I'd like to see, but it's a fun and unique experience. It's a bit pricey, but if price isn't a concern, I would definitely give it a try. Otherwise, wait for a good sale and then give it a try.

Heey, 500th! You shall be team leader for the uh, 5th Wombat battalion!

I'm only vaguely aware of the wonders that non-Steam games have to offer. In my experience, a lot of what I've seen is censored , and that's an instant no from me. The only reason I put up with censorship is for review purposes.

there are lots of games made from RPGMaker like this, only a few titles get translated and are actually quite fun except it may be a bit loli or a bit violent to actually be on steam.

Do you know which version of the RPGMaker I need to edit the game? (RPGM MV?)
DatWombat Feb 21, 2020 @ 9:54pm
Ah, I do know that many RPGMaker titles can at least be visually edited without RPGMaker's intervention, but the idea of using RPGMaker to pop 'un open never occurred to me. . . that's a bit of an eye opener.

These mods sound interesting, though I'm not sure where mods for this title would wind up. I'll have to figure out a Steam friendly way to share such mods with my followers.

This game not protected in any way, so you can open it freely in RPG Maker and edit it. In fact, the hyper pregnancy mod from pregchan seems to already be in the shipped build of this game. There's also a "younger" and "loli" mod I know of out there, and beyond that Google hasn't been a huge help to me.
