A game about sequencing the movements of simple mechanisms .
The basegame is not too challenging, it can be a challenge when you attempt to optimize the solutions.

Pros:
-good challenge in the newly added journal puzzles
-simple game mechanics that combine to create complexity
-lots of ways to solve puzzles, adds replay value and encourages creativity

♥♥♥♥:
-storyline text is very small and not easy to read on high resolutions
-progressing requires clicking through a cumbersome text scroll mechanism
-the instruction line feels half-baked (copying, cutting & pasting blocks of instructions is not as simple as it should be)
-difficult to locate the correct position of the single block you want to change
-no way to higlight instructions to track changes or repeated instructions
-the repeat instruction copys from the start always, so you cant use small chunks over again
-the repeat function hides all instructions in a single block that makes it difficult to see where
corrections or instructions for other parts belong
-no break points or easy way to jump to where you just were, so you have to wait through
the entire set of instructions before you get to the spot
-if you accidentally go too far playing through the instructions set, you start the process of
finding your spot again
- ...and then run every instruction again, to find the spot again, just to correct the edit or add
a single instruction

Ultimately the game is fun until the complexity of designs increases,
then it becomes an ugly chore.
For a game with a main selling point of creating complex machines and optimizing them,
the unpolished instructions make it annoying, instead of fun to edit instructions.

It's not quite a 'breakpoint' but very similar, if you ctrl+click one of the instructions in the tape at the bottom while the solution is running, it will skip quickly to that instruction and pause for you.

@Kyrien ... there's nothing in his review that indicates he doesn't know how to operate the game. he simply said the instruction lane feels half baked, and not as simple as it should be .... and with a full and complete understanding of how to operate the game, I can confirm he is absolutely correct.

You can preserve your instructions when switching arm types by dropping the new arm type directly on top of the old one. It won't give you the usual 'there's already a part here' error, it just converts it! Also, once you have an instruction sequence selected by dragging a box over it, you can ctrl-click and drag to make a copy of the entire sequence. This also works across multiple lines at once, useful for when you're repeating commands for two arms working in tandem. The copy function there could use some documenting, though.
