TLDR: It's alright I suppose.

Base Game: A nice development on the original, with an expansive, detailed world map, interesting and stylised battlefields, unique factions and mechanics.

New race packs: Tomb Kings are spooky Egyptian skeletons who field massed ranks of Jason and the Argonauts skeletons, tanky stone constructs and decent magic. Vampire Coast arrrrr the same, but with pirate vibes and enough gunpowder to blow a hole in Morrslieb. Bloated Corpse best boi. Good vibes.

Grom The Paunch - Fat gobbo who loves to cook.

Deathmaster Snikch - micromanaging ninjas

Ikit Claw - don't come to Lustria tomorrow

Markus Wolfhart - Colonialism

Mortal Empires: If you own the first game then you can unlock a larger map containing all the factions from both games. It will take over your life, start a campaign at risk of your sanity and your CPU.

136 Hours, all Achievements complete, god i hate this game.

Game has serious replayability, plenty of modifiers to change up how the runs go, great with friends. Great for casual and serious gamers alike.
