When I got the game last year, I thought you would be able to run any train down a track, but you can't.
Anyways i should say, Dont write it off completely, TS has a lot of potential it could be a truly groundbreaking Simulator if only it was supported by a company that actaully cares about the product or even the subject, I'm not alone in hoping DTG have a change of policy or better still a change of management ... I'm hoping for the situation to improve, even if they just made their yearly "free" upgrade (public beta test) optional instead of compulsory it would go a long way in retaining confidence, at least the user fixes and workarounds could be kept in place, and at least people wont have to be concerned they might someday lose all the time and money invested in a botched upgrade ... If I were you I would wait a couple of years and see what happens.
