Hrm will have to check it out when I don't feel like dedicating 7hrs to one map. Would be interesting if they expand more on the campaign, sounds like they're open to making it better from the posts I've skimmed over.

I was looking for a more creative vision of what campaign missions could be but they're all kind of the same but with twists like "fishing is better on this map". And they don't address the game's issue of babysitting resources rather than focusing on the exciting zombie combat. I've also seen some missions that are just horribly unbalanced. So I've been progressing very slowly, it's still fun to play though because at least it's not as long/intense as survival.

Well, it's far from perfect. A lot of times the missions are the same as survival (start from scratch, intermittent hordes, etc) with the win con being like "grow to a certain size". So essentially survival lite but worse because you have to manually unlock the cool buildings through tech trees. And there are hero missions which get kind of tedious because there is so story like Starcraft and Warcraft.

Oh nice, I've avoided the campaign mode since it sounds like a lot of people aren't happy with it. Do you like it?
