I feels as if I need to leave a proper review for this master piece of a game despite all that has happened in recent years to it. I started to really play it in 2012 after my old Xbox broke and for some bad reason i played most of the orange box on the 360 console before the slim version died while Playing Lost Planet 2 by Capcom. My first experiece with Half Life was on the 360 slim console so sue me, but I moved on from that when I found the Orange Box's final part for me, Team Fortress 2, was locked off due to Microsoft's payment for online feature aka Xbox live. remarkably my Xbox died shortly after completing HL2 EP2 despite my love of Lost Planet 2. because I did not have real online access and I knew even as a 15 year old in 2012 at the time that TF2 and HL2 was played best on pc viewing Steam reviews I decided to play this game not knowing at the time it would become my favorite game ever and most played on my own Steam profile. The whole reason I have a Steam is due to this game, the whole reason I respect this game is due to the fact it has out lived so many mediocre competitors and still is alive, yet not as updated as much to this day. I recall in 2015 during my senior year in High School so dude came up to me and said something on the the lines of "dude you were ahead of everyone else, and used Steam." and this is when the lets player thing was getting its traction on Youtube before streaming. Good times. And even to this day Team Fortress 2 is up their with Half Life 3 for a non existent yet hopeful community that loves Valve for being this bizarre as frig gaming company yet rarely does too much anymore. I started TF2 in community trade and achievement servers between 2012-2013 and those memories of just being a teen and goofing around and then playing a lot of slender fortress in 2014 and again just goofing around before moving on to quick play just to escape reality for a bit. I started to quick play/casual in 2015-2016 for a real tf2 experience despite a disdain for the quick play system at the time. I got over it though like so many other and since then Team Fortress 2 through the lack of updates and everything to this day i will always remember was the reason I came and staye on Steam as a platorm. Despite the community on the forums being drama queens and saying this game is dead I will always look fowards to a halloween and now a december update even in my deepest alcoholic state. since 2012 this is my favorite Steam game and no video essay on Youtube will change that opinion since now there are mods like open Fortress and Team Fortress 2 Classic that will go on and on to keep this legend of a game alive. I will never forget being head of the curve among so many people I used to know just due to this game introducing me to PC gaming as a whole and showing me how Steam would be the true future and back then still the present of PC gaming. This game has outlived so many others presented as the next hero shooter and i played them only to come back here again. In short I guess I have played this game since 2012 and only in short breaks have i relay quit it and yet i never gave up on it, and i will be continuing to play TF2 into the future just due to its community's and meme cultures unwilling attitude to allow it to die. no other game is so prominent in memes, and its models sound effects help it remain immortal among so many other games like it. And aside from all of this I still repla it regardless not due to cosmetics or my skill, but just due to the incomprehensible and somewhat uncanny community this game has gathered since i have started. since 2012 i have seen people from so many other online internet community's gathered here and just mingle around together and give up any online rivalries just to agree Team Fortress 2 is the best online gaming experience to happen since quake 3 arena, if not ever. TF2 is still dominating meme culture and will continue to do so. It has dominated my play time on Steam out of so many MMO title just due to its player interaction and community. It will be here always in my heart and in memory and I wont forget the cool and bizarre experiences it has given me in the decade time I have loved it. I owe it a lot to just my being on Steam alone and staying here. I owe it as much to give it this long review.

Okay so imagine someone took the best parts of Left 4 Dead 2, Earth Defence Force, combined those then took the bare minimum mining from Minecraft,a bit of terrraria plus Team Fortress 2 just tiny spice of that, and then ramped that all up until you get Red Faction levels of environmental destructibility; but all this after they had watched a massive marathon of classic horror/sci-fi films like Them! (1954), The Thing (1982), and most certainly Aliens (1986) as well as so many other great old yet gold films such as , Starship Troopers (1997), Ticks (1993), Arachnophobia (1990), Spiders (2000), an so any other cult horror films and just made this amazing game. . The devs took all that had inspired them, and then made this masterpiece of a game, but also made sure to make their weapons in their first person shooter feel kick-ass, Also the OST is great, and every environment is artwork screenshot worthy, like it could belong in the artwork section of this game's community just because the random generation is that good. I reccomend this to horror/sci -fi/fantasy fans, or eve those just looking or a great first person shooter without the constant grind that so many other shooter need mainly within the AAA gaming market. and hey, you might wanna watch a lot of movies like horror and sci-fi-action after playing this as well, and there ain't nothing wrong with that either. watching old movies and just checking them out in reviews is how I got here too thanks to Sniss, and just a great admiration o the devs love of horror films and soundtrack. Yeah buy this game, friendly community, there's beer, it already has overwhelmingly positive reviews, and don't forget to Rock and Stone!
