You snap your head to look behind you, your neck popping a couple times in protest, but you see nothing.
"sheeeeeesh"
You give yourself whiplash again, to no avail. Still, nothing.
"based"
The disembodied voice speaks yet again, but this time you no do not look back. You run. You leave that cursed room with its LED lights, its faded striped wallpaper, and its secrets. You run back to your dilapidated rental, and drive at a breakneck pace to your apartment in Missouri, the 7 hour drive only manageable due to the pure fear instilled within your mind. You collapse onto the creaking bed, regret quitting your 9 to 7 job for a life of the paranormal, and eventually cry yourself to sleep.
