It's Halo back on PC; sure there's some kinks to iron out, but holy ♥♥♥♥ is it playable when compared to 2014.

Early Access Review
Okay, my...second (?) review of a game.

World War 3 is effectively gunning to take over Battlefield (maybe COD as well) throughout the years to come and I find that it has some pretty strong promise in doing so. You learn the game yourself rather than being given a tutorial on how to generally learn the basics; your first game is effectively your tutorial mission and I LOVE this idea. The game features a ludicrously expansive customization roster; being able to convert your weapons from CQC short-barrels into long-range DMRs with a sniper scope to match; the only real limits are your imagination (and also the customization options, but there'll be more incoming - the G36 recieved a group of custom pistol grips!) - and then there's your soldier. For me, I recreated the god himself, Lord Tachanka, to bestow his magnificence upon the battlefield.

Okay, now for the game itself. It runs pretty well (more on that down below) on lower resolutions and the game flows nicely; with the added benefit of being an attacker or defender (effectively choosing a different playstyle to suit your class, which is a pretty neat feature too). On a side note, you can also change your play-style on the fly, so if you wanted to attack in one half and defend the second half, you can do that!

Now for the "No Buenos"; the bad. The game, while it runs well, really struggles at 4K (As a note, my specs can be viewed at the top) - while I don't particularly aim for it, it ran pretty fine on lower resolutions. I feel there could be some more wiggle room for 4K optimization as the main major frame-rate drops were when I zoomed in with a sniper scope, vehicles kicked up dust and more importantly on the main menus themselves; I got around 10-15FPS on JUST the menus alone and it was a nightmare to just watch. Alongside this, I feel the AK15 is pretty...powerful; moreso than the other weapons as its TTK is pretty short when compared to the other weapons like the G38.

Though these are all my personal takes and experiences on the game; which has only crashed ONCE. Save for the rather unoptimized mode for 4K displays and some slight weapon imbalancing, the game is pretty solid and is DEFINITELY worth the £24 right now on Steam; grab it now while you can, because that price is gonna step up as the development goes on. Also, it's one of the few Early Access titles that feels you've got your money's worth!

I've found out 3 things when playing Murder Miners:

1. If you obliterate people on the PC with superior mouse and keyboard skills, you'll be kicked by sweaty 12 year old children who still somehow use the Xbox 360 controller because (coughAIMASSISTcough).

2. If you join a game that has one slot remaining, you feel you've accomplished something after you've got kicked by that one person who doesn't know how to make a server password-protected.

3. When playing the zombies mode, you'll find out that virtually every gun you're good with is replaced by the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ minergun. Seriously, who even likes that thing, save from the ability to build walls?

Honestly, overall this game is actually surprisingly decent. Aside it from being a living meme by some people, for 79p you get Murder Miners on PC - which far outweighs its Xbox 360 counterpart. If you love Halo and a pixelated 2D artstyle, this game is for you. Gucci/10

Easily one of my most favourite COD games of all time, Black Ops 2's campaign picks up a few years after Black Ops 1 and boy oh boy is the story a wild ride. I absolutely love the Strike Missions, given they benefit to which ending you get in the game - speaking of which, I LOVE the fact you can send the world into a state of ♥♥♥♥ or let it recover. I won't spoil it, but it's a joy of a ride.

Multiplayer is incredible. Pick 10 completely overhauls on what your playstyle becomes and how you can change it to a completely different role. The maps are memorable and generally everything feels smooth and solid.

ZOMBIES. Let's chat Zombies...the maps that have Misty, Russman, Marlton and Stupidger are alright but they're not the best. The true favourites for me are Mob of the Dead and Origins, given their willingness to step out of the Zombies norm and introduce new mechanics, weapons and perks (although Origins doesn't have new perks, it sure as hell has new mechanics and weapons.)

All in all, what can I say more about this? This game is a true masterpiece - even if it has it's flaws, however minor - and Treyarch outdid themselves for this game. Also, don't get Black Ops 3. Supply drops galore, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ campaign, a multiplayer that's at risk of becoming severely unbalanced and a meh zombies.

Without a doubt, Garry's Mod is one of the best games I have ever ran into on the market. No aims or goals? That's what caught my attention. Millions of addons (and counting) to download at my own leisure? I'm game.

All in all, if you want to kill some hours of your time or are bored, I highly recommend purchasing this game for it's whackiness, unique style and last of all - melons.
