W wątku Is revolution achievement broken?
I was stuck at 205/206 with the bug before the new updates. With the new version I went into orbital station and found a gamegirl, which put me up to 206/206, and I've beat the admin twice now, after collecting that, both times I got the secret ending, and I still don't have the achievement. Is it broken or am I missing something?

While it's fun to specilate, I ultimately don't see the point. Like I said - set the option to display modded lobbies by default and everyone will be happy. The people who go turn it on SHOULDN'T be joining my modded lobby in the first place. Circumventing the check just means I'm misleading people into joining lobbies they don't want to join. I'm still a proponent of full disclosure and this is part of that.
From what I gather it's announcing mods used, and if YOU WANT allows you to search for just non-modded ones.

I don't see much issue with presenting the option, is there? I mean, unless you also complain about the option to see regular or CS lobbies? Filter out mutated lobbies? All those make sense no, even if you can easily identify both.
I also adds the option for auto-kicking users who use mods.(or rather have blt installed, regardless of whether any mods are even being used)

A much better option if you want people to actually respect the filter would have been allow mods to opt-out of the list. A lot of the time gameplay changing mods aren't hidden, and intentionally announce themselves when players join. Having these displayed on the map would be a convience to everyone, as people save themselves the time joining, and the hosts would save time on the 'wait for player' screen, and therefore there would be little reason for people to opt-out them. Many mods however have no impact on the other players at all, such as just increasing the number of skill trees available, or bug fixes, and there is no reason these need to shown to scare away players or exclude players from games. The list can be circumvented regardless, but if users had more control over it they'd be more likely to use it instead of just looking to disable it.

The crystal mirror bug on vhard for me seems to be if you have 3 crystals placed on the right side, none will snap in on the left.

iirc there's a rough map on the in-game menu. Most of the paths aren't marked, but the rooms are on there. Don't remeber which 3 rooms you need to go to, but the map should help point you in the right general direction to finding all the rooms.

Nothing wrong with 5 downs. 3 normal +1 for nine lives +1 for the extra down boost in crime spree.

HAL 9000 I think it's spraying all the cameras in the Orbital Station.
I thought I had to do tricks in front of the Big Eye (E-Cop tower) in Haven /facepalm
That makes sense though, I'll give it a try.

Tried it, didn't work. I'm positive I've hit all the cameras inside the orbital station, though some of them haven't got their lights off for a moment like the others. Can anyone confirm this is the correct way?
Can confirm that this didn't work for me either.

The game spawns you in the nearest detention booth if you get caught in the orbital station. Your individual characters have their own wanted levels. And even if you get caught three times, you're sent to a special detention facility inside the station (which is a nice change dev team, thanks).

I'm talking about if you have to stop playing. There is NO save point inside the entire area.
Or you could just learn the level layout just like you had to do for all the other areas. Once you know where you're going it shouldn't even take 5 minutes to reach the mum fight from the begining.

The warnings were not sufficient. No where did it state that the game would refuse to launch if it wasn't updated, so it was a perfectly resonable assumption that you could just disable auto updates, and when the update live, cash out and then update. The change notes even recommended cashing out before you downloaded the update, implying that it was possible to run the old version to do so.

fyi to anyone reading this, backing up the game files, updating, then swapping back to the backup worked fine and I got cashed out.

Having this same problem, I'm backing up my pd2 folder, then going to update then swap back the old version. Think that'll probably let me cash out. I thought I'd be fine just launching the exe directly to cash out since I have auto-update disabled, but I did not expect this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t.
I'm certainly no expert but I'm pretty sure that that'll crash your game
Why would it? The old version ran fine before, and if steam thinks it updated I don't see why it wouldn't let it run as if it was the current version.
