I seldom leave reviews, but Zen really burned all of their customer goodwill. Customers spent sometimes many hundreds of dollars on FX2, then FX3 on Steam, then they did a boneheaded 1 year exclusive on the Epic store, and now that they're on Steam, none of your tables from FX3 transfer. You have to buy them again. They've been shamed into offering decent discounts for existing owners of FX3 tables now, but it's too little too late. I'll buy some tables when they're on sale, but I want to give as little money as possible to Zen at this point. It could have been such an easy win for them.

This is a fantastic platformer and one of my favorite games of the last year. Great difficulty curve, from fun and easy to rage-quit difficult. Great replay value, with lots of hidden extras that will keep you replaying levels to find the secret areas.

Really well done 2D platformer, very authentic to the shareware-style DOS games from the early 90s. This goes beyond simply the pixel art craze, it's spot on in art style, sound effects, color palette, gameplay, hidden areas, even the menus and episode selection.

The gameplay is immediately familiar and nostalgic for those who grew up on these games. Strongly inspired by and reminiscent of games like Commander Keen, Crystal Caves, Duke Nukem I and II, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, Monster Bash, etc.

Highly recommended if you enjoy the genre and have any fondness for games of that period.
