I fear that in NBA 2k20, 2k will demand VC for every step we take. It's ridiculous to ask money for even hairstyles that were available for free last year. Even f2p games don't ask for this much money for in-game items and the game itself is expensive in the first place. For Gods sake, what does it take to satisfy 2k's greed?

Nothing will satisfy them, they know that the community will buy the VC and so they fucked it up for the rest of us, I wont get it then it seems..

30 hours in on the game and not had any need or want to buy VC. It is easy to earn.

I dont think they'll do that for every step. That's ridiculous! They might charge VC for shot attempts though. How much they charge you will depend on shot quality. -2 for missing contested shots and -5 for missing wide open shots for example. Leaderboards are also going to require VC everytime you open them. And finally, losing games will cost you anywhere between 100-300 VC.
