It's a gem - yes, one that's rough in parts... But one that truly rewards the time put into it.

+

A fantastic concept (Lancelot du Lac as a world weary Immortal Knight detective hunting Jack the Ripper) meets a thrilling narrative full of compelling characters brought to life by high "pedigree" (pun intended) voice acting, in a game that has clearly been brought into being through the effort and determination of a team who truly cares about the project.

-

It is, however, apparent from playing the game that the devs had huge aspirations for where they wanted to take their game, and if they had a vast team or budget it may well have hit the mark in every respect - so you'll need to indulge quirks like the characters don't always go where you send them or the fact that some action prompts aren't always apparent until you walk right past them.

Overall

It's well worth a go - especially if you need a good story to dive into! I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with it so far. A real statement of ambition for a new studio :)
