What an exhilarating experience! The since of speed is awsome. The learning curve is steep. The tracks take time and practice...PRACTICE. You will come off the bike often until you learn. You must memorize the tracks including all the holes and dips. I give the sound a solid 8 or 9. I use a butt kicker and it really adds to the immersion. You can really feel the bike with it. This sim is a 9 out of 10 easy. I never give 10's.

I have most of the top racing sims including AC,PC,Dirt rally,F1 and R Factor 2 is the best one of the bunch! I'm guessing it's the physics and the AI that has me most impressed. I heard a lot of negative reviews about the graphics but the graphics look damn good to me. Ok not as good as the above mentioned but the graphics are just a non issue when the sim feels as good as this one. That brings me to the FFB. It's probably the best of all the above. If PC could adapt the physics, AI, and FFB of R Factor 2 then PC would reign supreme but until then this sim is number 1. Just my humble opinion.

Graphics are top notch beautiful. Sound is damn good.
Gameplay is very challenging. You'll be spending plenty of time in practice and in time trials if you want to be good at this.
Car setup is what you'd expect in a racing sim. The AI in my opinion is very tough at maximum. It hurt my ego a bit when I finally found the setting that I could compete against (right now I'm at 43.)
Im having no FFB issues at all. It's very responsive and strong. The settings are incredibly extensive and should be studied in depth before tweeking with them.
All in all this is a must have in any serious sim racers collection.

Not what I expected period.

I am 43 years old and I have been playing flight simulators for almost 30 years. I have watched them develop over many platforms ranging from Commodore 64 to modern day computers we have today. I just recently purchased a thrustmaster warthog and thrustmaster rudder pedals and downloaded DCS with some modules. This simulator is so sweet it almost brings me to tears. With the graphics cranked up it runs smooth as butter. The realism is the likes of something I have never seen in a simulator and I have flown the best simulators in the past. Do not listen to any negative reviews about this simulator. Take my word for it... it is simply amazing! You better be ready to learn how to fly with this one. The learning curve is not that difficult for me but for a beginner this would be brutal. This is a high-end simulator made for people who can to play. And they're working on 2.0!

What a disappointment. This game is flat, empty, and unimaginative. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!
