Nope, no bots didn't seem to fix anything. I guess I will have to resort to picking up bayoneted muskets off of my dead bot comrades to have a bayonet.

Many thanks for your information in solving my problem, Mr. Blitz_craig. It may be because I use bots in my server that is doesn't work. I will perform a test on with and without bots and report back with the results to see if it solved my problem. I am very grateful that you even decided to look into my problem, and cannot thank you enough.

Fixing bayonets is only of marginal benefit in terms of making gameplay more interesting for the War of 1812 mod. You only get a very small aiming bonus for having your bayonet off. Most soldiers in the War of 1812 went into battle with their bayonets allready on. It is much more relevant to have this feature in a Civil War mod like North and South where the weapons are rifled, much more accurate, and the aiming bonus for a non bayoneted weapon would be more significant. We only included it because one of our dev team mentioned having it in a preview thread on the fse forums. As far as your issue, I do not have access to a local only server and can not duplicate your problem or attempt to solve it. But, I can't understand how differences in servers would cause the module system not to execute the script for fix bayonets. Also, remember that any game mode that uses bots will not have the fixable bayonets feature.

Dear Blitz_craig, I made a thread about your War of 1812 mod before, with a problem regarding me having trouble with fixing bayonets onto muskets. I looked into the problem by myself and found that fixing bayonets works only in registered servers, not locally hosted ones that I make myself. This problem is also the same in the North and South: First Manassas mod. Could you please help me find out what's wrong? I downloaded both the War of 1812 mod plus it's optional texture updates and also the North and South mod from ModDB and other sources. Here's a screenshot of the problem in the War of 1812 mod when I try to switch to the bayonet using the B key:
Many thanks in advance to you, Blitz_craig. Even if it cannot be solved, I would appreciate it very much if you only tried and came back to me with an answer. :steamhappy:
