Had added you a while ago and we talked briefly about your projects. You've since (understandably) removed me cause we weren't actively communicating but I've a question.

Consumers are empowered by corporate transparency not by secrecy. You could always set your profile to private if you didnt want apps like SteamSpy "spying" on your library, though I don't see why you'd what to hide what games you own. Now publishers can lie about their sales and you'd have no way to know if their information is false or correct. Steamspy SteamDB and other such apps were giving the user access to game information and transparency. Without them all you have left is corporate control and greed, and you're on the other side of that court.

I've no idea how you figured this is good for consumers, Valve's changes affect its business and bottom line, always and only, users are mere peons.
There's nothing consumer friendly about them, total opposite.
