Early Access Review
Find your way:
~~~~~~~~~~~
Who doesn’t like a fun cliché in western adventure? The town of Sayer was a peaceful place to live in the mid 1800’s. Then the James clan came to town and brought chaos by terrorizing its inhabitants. It’s down to one man – you - the sheriff of Sayer, to find a way to save your town!
Find Your Way is a top down western action game where you take control a sheriff and your goal is to survive the onslaught of incoming waves of gunslingers!
This game is available on Steam on Early Access and offers two type of modes: single player and survival.
As you start a single player game, your character will find himself in the middle of a small town with an arsenal, which includes a gun, a shotgun and a rifle, with a limited amount of ammunition. Enemies start coming from every direction! Most of them will have firearms and a few will come at him with a knife. As you have a certain number of bullets in each of your barrels (gun, shotgun and riffle), you need to make sure that each shot hits its target. In the case of shots hitting too many trees or cacti, or simply hitting the ground, you’ll have to reload and dodge incoming bullets in order to survive. As you gun down opponents, some will leave either ammo or power up to. All you need to do to acquire them is to hover over the icon (power ups or ammo).
After clearing the area, your character will need to find the red arch within the map to proceed to the next section, at which point the process will start again.
In survival mode, your character will have to survive as long as he can by defeating waves of incoming cowboys.
The gameplay is fun and easy to use; all you have to do is to move your target onto your enemies and shoot them!
In terms of the graphics, they are decent, however the animations need improving. The story is minimal and the English translation needs work. What I personally don’t like is the camera movement; it’s far too sensitive. As I mentioned above, it is an Early Access game which could become a very interesting final product; we’ll have to wait and see!
Positives:
~~~~~~~

+ Fun graphics
+ Single player and survival mode
+ Easy to play
+ Western soundtrack (only one at this stage)

Negatives:
~~~~~~~~
- Camera movements far too sensitive
- Needs more content
- No achievements or trading cards
Find your way in the mid 1800’s in the far west! Fun and easy to play but need more content!
5/10
