Growing up on the original series and playing them on disc, when I had heard this was coming out, I dropped everything and looked at absolutely everything I could find about it. The day it came out I even took a day of remote work to squeeze in as much time I could to truly experience it. The nostalgia factor aside, the game is everything I had expected and wanted out of a remaster. At release there were of course bugs, but in my playthrough(s), nothing game breaking occurred. Besides the occasional T posing of squadmates, this was a truly immersive experience just like it was a decade ago. Playing with the remastered textures and graphics brings an old story rich classic to 2021 and beyond. The story itself reminds me of a time when games were made to bring an experience to the consumer, not a loot box or live service, where your choices matter and you grow a connection not only to Shepard, but to your squadmates. Once you've completed the trilogy, you'll be left with a sense of accomplishment and maybe even a bit of sadness now that it's over. For now at least..

If you've never played the Mass Effect series and see this review, give it a shot. Worst that happens is you get a refund, and the best is an experience you won't soon forget. In all 700+ games I own on Steam, this ranks in the Top 5 of my favorites and it brings me back into long playthroughs and critical decisions even after months of not playing.

+Fantastic replayability
+Modern/Exceptional graphics
+Months worth of content through replays and DLCs
+All DLC/Addon content in one neatly wrapped package
+/- Not Multiplayer ( Although ME3's original MP is now active again)
+/- A few bugs, mostly humorous to see ( In my experience with the title)
+/- An absolute grind for completionists
-Inconsistent UI ( Don't get too attached to how things look after the first remaster)
