I've managed to finish it on the first play. Was not that difficult to be honest outside of the final fight which was quite thight but still doable and I'm not even a very serious player.

I've done the quests in a random order, was just switching to another one when I was struggling a fight. Nothing much to worry about if you're not aiming to complete all the quests I guess.
I did try but stopped when I've reached the prehistoric world and never felt like getting back to it yet! Well somehow I've never really felt a connection towards Chrono Trigger, there's games like that eh. Should give it a new try perhaps, might get into it now, who knows!
For me this is the best of the XIIIs by far. I had such a blast playing it. Great atmosphear and strong gameplay. The composers team reached their full maturity and explores a lot, offering us an incredible OST quite outside of FF standards but very unique. Can only recommand it!

I guess a big part of the audience grew up tired of the franchise by the time it came out hence it explains the little love this game got.

As you said, a lot of people seems to put XIII-2 forward but as far as I'm concerned it was the entry I like the least to the point I gave up on finishing it out of boredom.

Playing XIII and XIII-2 are required to fully understand what's going on LR tho as it follows both stories.

Personally it stands in my favorite SE top 3 along with Xenogears and Chrono Cross :-)

There's an issue in the Woodlands area during the discusion betwenn Sakamoto and Inomata where the character's designation square doesn't show properly the active speaker I think.

Other than the the demo is interesting ! Don't know the original game but the atmosphear is great. Really like the character design and the music particulary. Good job so far !

In topic How to beat Bhunivelze
Just managed to beat Bhunivelze, that was quite some task! Was struggling on his 4th form as well until I've found the right set of garbs and abilities. The advices to use -ra spells were not enough in fact.
Instead I've equiped strong physical attacks such as Attack 4 on the Equilibrium + garb, Heavy Slash (he ate that one by the roots as it was hitting for 30k when Deprotect was on), had Vengeance as second garb, Beat Down helps a lot if you didn't loot the ability and the third garb was Déjà vu, Mediguard 3 comes in handy to replenish HPs + Blitz 3, the rest of the slots were filled with -ra spells but didn't use them much. Managed to save all my EPs + 1 ether for the 4th form. Spammed all the physical attacks over 6 OCs and that was it.

Hope that can help !

In topic You think FFXV will see PC?
Hehe yeah true. Although I didn't get 13 1 and 2 day one, plus I don't have a great PC and the whole lot seemed good to me to be honest! A bit of freezing here and there, only 1080p no fancy options activated, I just blame my computer and move on :-]

XV will be running on a hopefuly better engine, well I guess we'll see how it runs on PC. But in theory it's a far polished version of ARR engine so things should be smooth. In theory I guess, because if the engine was tip top SE would have kept it for Kingdom Heart 3 and NieR 2 so we'll see that. It's surely a good engine but I reckon that the main developer left SE sometime ago so they're probably left with a somewhat too thin manual book :-)

In topic You think FFXV will see PC?
No doubt that the game will run very well on PC. Square Enix has a good record for that I'd say. Just look at 13-3 yes or even XIVARR. They know what they're doing :-)

In topic You think FFXV will see PC?
We might see it on PC sooner than we think. Look at Dragon Quest Heroes for example, that one came out really quick after the console version. FFXV might not be as quick but it will come. No point for SquareEnix not to enjoy the profit of extra sales when the game cost a lot to produce.

In topic Is this a bad port like FF13 and FF13-2?
Same issues here, started the game yesterday and it's really choppy in Luxerion.

My rig is just right about the recommended specs on the store page, AMD X4 925 @ 3.2, AMD 5770, 4GB of ram and win 10.

FFXIII ran perfectly, XIII-2 was sometimes a bit low on fps but LR is struggling. Not too surprised with such an old computer, it's rather strange it happens to kloperius tho!

In topic SEGA please give us Shining Resonance port
That'd be ace for sure ! But to be honnest, I don't think this will come out of Japan, not even mentioning a PC port. Let's hope Sega proves me wrong :-)
concerning SW, I believe that XSEED said they'd like to work on it if they'd get the chance, so may be one day :-D
The VC team is currently working on a F2P Online RPG called The World End Eclipse. Meant to be out sometime this winter in japan on PC, Vita and smartphones.
The background looks great and seems to be at the usual level of VC's team but I guess the F2P aspect can be quite fearsome.

The Red Company has been co working with Idea Factory on the Agarests and more particularly, Oji Hiroi, the scenarist of Tengai Makyo and Sakura Wars, has finished Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines on Vita. It's meant to come out in the West at some point but there's no news for now.

Looks cool indeed! Some dungeon crawling with cheap technic but great art and little price. I'm not familiar with the series but it's appealing :-)

After consideration, I was thinking that I might be able to moify the registry because I've upgrade Win 8 for a 8.1 Pro preview. The registry might just be locked on a Win 8 Home edition, not really sure about that.

The reg file works now and it asked if I want to add it to the registry, so that's all good. thanks Bloodshed!

Oh yes, I've tried that already but without success. Tried with a new game as well but there's no music either. It's okay anyway, the game is still good without music, thanks for helping mate!

It says that I can't save it on the image. Is there anyway to modify the image may be? I'm sorry, I don't know much about those things!

I just had a look in the game setup but I didn't see any option offering that choice, where would that be found?
