This is truly one of those rare mind-blowing VR experiences. No matter how many 2D trailers and screenshots you look at, you have no idea what it really feels like putting on the hmd to enter the magic portal and be present in the world of Eye of the Temple. Is it a game? - I more consider it an Indiana Jones simulator :-) In this ... sim ... you'll feel like having been walking many steps in different directions, while you in the physical world never really leave the center of your play space. Feels like some sort of magic ;-)

The game requires a large play area of 2 x 2 meter - or 6 feet x 6 feet, and that must be floor space with no objects blocking. My play space (floor space) is 1.5 x 3.5 meters - and I decided to give the game a try. The game does not support re-centering or thumbstick turning (neither snap nor smooth), but to my amazement the dev has now added the possibility to turn the world left or right (=same as 90 degrees snap turning. This needs to be done inside a menu). This means I can now play the game with no problems! (Well, at least for now, I have not finished the game)

The game is totally awesome - really messes with your mind due to the real walking. Be careful not twisting the hmd cable too much though! The game is one of the most convincing VR experiences I've had. Graphics are simple and get the job done, but still look nice/great. Performance is awesome too - I got solid 90 fps using Index res 500% (yes, five-hundred), you basically just need a GTX 970.

This game really feels like being Indy - or playing some real-life Montezuma's Revenge, lol. Highly recommended.
