General Info
Actively looking for a full-time IT position with good management.

Contact Information
If you want a more reliable way to get a hold of me, add me to Discord (Ryusei#6632). Just notify me on Steam (whether through a message or my profile) when you do. I may not reply immediately but I usually do see all Discord message sent to me.

If you message me through Steam, just know that when I'm in-game on my desktop, I'll usually respond right away. Otherwise, I may take a while because I'm busy with other things, sleeping or simply not around. I make an active effort to close my game or set myself to invisible when I know I'm going to be afk/busy for a while.

Current Activities
Job hunting, light - moderate gaming, music, exercise, housework, troubleshooting, spending time with my family, doing something constructive everyday, and improving my well-being.

My Desktop System:
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Extreme6
Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K with Hyper 212 Plus Air Cooler
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3-2133MHz CAS 9
Graphics: AMD RX 6800 XT Midnight Black (Previously XFX R9 290X w/ Corsair HG10 & H110i GT)
Primary Drive: 256GB Samsung 850 Pro
Secondary Drive #1: 5TB Toshiba X300 7200RPM
Secondary Drive #2: 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2
Case: Cooler Master Storm Stryker
OS: Windows 10 Professional
Plans for Upgrades:
• Planning to upgrade my CPU to Zen 4 after it releases. I'm waiting for 5GHz+ multi-core clock speeds (before OC) & DDR5 RAM. I might get an octa-core or something better.
• No plans for VR until there's a headset with 180° or higher FOV for $500 or less and I have enough room to set it up.
• I plan on getting a true bezel-less (all 4-sides) 1440p/4k IPS 90+Hz FreeSync 2 HDR monitor just as soon as one becomes available and costs $600 or less. Perhaps the Eve Spectrum if it actually releases - 95%+ bezel-less is good enough. I might also just get a 46 - 50" Curved OLED 4K/8K Monitor if/when one becomes available for $800 or less.

Peripherals:
UPS: CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD Pure Sine Wave
Mouse: Razer DeathAdder Elite
Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB LUX - Cherry MX Brown (Upgraded from K70 RGB)
Monitor #1: Qnix QX2710 1st gen (Can overclock to 135Hz Refresh Rate, 120Hz reliably, but I leave it at 90Hz to sync with my ASUS monitor. It developed a few dead pixels over time but being my side monitor & Stepmania monitor, it doesn't bother me.)
Monitor #2: ASUS MG279Q (Has no dead pixels or back light bleed. It's my primary monitor.)
Monitor #3: ASUS MG279Q (I got this panel free when I asked for a refund due to a single vertical yellow line going across the right side of the screen. It was an issue at first but after realizing it's only noticeable during blue or black scenes/images, it's been about as bothersome as a dead pixel. Fortunately, there aren't any dead pixels to add to the problem but there is a little back light bleed. Works well for a side monitor.)
Headphones: Philips Fidelio X2
Headphone Amp: Schiit Magni 2 Uber
Headphone DAC: Schiit Modi 2 Uber
Microphone: Antlion Audio ModMic 4.0 Uni-Directional w/ Mute
Speakers: Pair of Infinity Reference 152s (Upgraded from Altec Lansing ACS31)
Amplifier: Arcam Delta 290 Integrated Amplifier

Laptop System:
Model: Dell Inspiron 1545 (Summer 2009)
Processor: Core 2 Duo T9500 2.60GHz (Replaced original T6500 2.1GHz)
Memory: 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2-667MHz
Graphics: AMD Mobility Radeon HD 4330
Hard Drive: 256GB Samsung 850 Pro
Monitor: 15.6" 300 Nits Glossy LED (Modded to replace CCFL)
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Plans for Upgrades:
I plan to get a laptop in 2021 or 2022 with the following specs for $1000 - $1500 when I find it (and after I get a job):
• Metal Body
• 120Hz+ IPS HDR (or 400+ nits) 1080p/1440p 17.3" Display with FreeSync & 100% sRGB
• 512GB+ NVMe SSD or HDD to be upgraded later to SSD
• RTX 3000 series GPU or AMD equivalent
• Ryzen 5000
Essentially this deal [slickdeals.net]but with a 17.3" screen and 2021's hardware.

Note about HDR:
It provides displays with a minimum threshold of 400 nits brightness. Having a bright enough display is the #1 factor for me when purchasing monitors or laptops. There are multiple reasons for this but the primary one is so I can see what I'm doing without external light making my screen look dim. Matte displays may reduce glare but the coating isn't going to make your screen any brighter.

My threshold for brightness is 350 nits if it's IPS and 300 nits if it's PLS (since PLS produces brighter whites than IPS). To that end, my preferred panel type is IPS, PLS (if one can be found) or OLED because the colors are more vibrant than TN and VA. Just note that OLED is still in its infancy with monitors, so until it becomes more mainstream, IPS and PLS are the way to go.

Recommended Stuff
X-Mode Energy Shots [xmshot.com] - Energy shots on tap. Comes in 100oz towers with 150mg Caffeine/1oz servings. You get two reusable containers per tower. Current flavors are Cherry, Tangerine, Jacked Apple, Watermelon, and Whiskey Rebellion. Whiskey Rebellion is their newest flavor and has a non-alcoholic cinnamon whiskey taste. They sell for $33 + Free Shipping on their website and Amazon. For new flavors otherwise unavailable on Amazon, check their website.

L-Theanine - Naturally found in tea, this works synergistically with caffeine and boosts the cognitive effects while promoting relaxation. Helpful if you want to avoid crashes or jitters. I add this to my energy shots to synergize the effects. It's also good for sleep if you want to wind down your mind.

Magnesium Glycinate - 50%-100% of the DV of Magnesium provides deeper dreams in sleep and helps prevent cramps. Magnesium Glycinate is one of the better forms for sleep as it promotes a calming sensation.

Stepmania w/ Dance Mats - High-intensity aerobic exercise that's (imo) more enjoyable than jogging/running. It's an incredible experience if you get it set up with surround sound or Hi-Fi stereo and become good enough to play on Heavy/Challenge.

Stepmaniaonline.net - Stepmania songpacks.

Etternaonline.com/packs - Stepmania songpacks with newer mixes. Average difficulty of 10 or less is usually a pad mix.

Zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/simfiles.php - Stepmania songpacks and individual simfiles.
