Contact Information
If I'm in-game on my desktop, I'll usually respond right away. Otherwise, I may take a while because:
• I'm busy with other things, sleeping or simply not around.
• The program I'm in doesn't show pop-ups (i.e. games in Battle.net and videos in fullscreen).
• Windows or Steam fails to alert me for whatever reason (seems to happen often).
If you want a more reliable way to get a hold of me, add me to Discord (Ryusei#6632) and notify me on Steam of you having done so.

My Desktop System:
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Extreme6
Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K with Hyper 212 Plus Air Cooler
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3-2133MHz CAS 9
Graphics: XFX R9 290X with Corsair HG10 and H110i GT Water Cooler
Primary Drive: 256GB Samsung 850 Pro
Secondary Drive #1: 5TB Toshiba X300 7200RPM
Secondary Drive #2: 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2
Case: Cooler Master Storm Stryker
OS: Windows 10 Professional
Plans for Upgrades:
• I plan to upgrade my GPU to something at least 100% better with 10GB+ of VRAM for around $500 - $850 in 2020 or 2021. Perhaps AMD's flagship or second-best GPU released in 2020. I'd like to maintain an average of 100 frames at High/Ultra settings in 4K with modern games. This should give me an average of 60+ fps with my triple portrait Eyefinity setup at 4460x2560 resolution (37.65% more pixels than 4K). I essentially need something more powerful than a 2080 Ti.
• No plans to upgrade my CPU until after DDR5 or even DDR6 Desktop RAM is released and prices become reasonable. I'm looking for a minimum 100% IPC gain at around the same cost my 4790K MSRP'd for ($340). Probably some time between 2021 and 2025.
• No plans for VR until Samsung releases their 180 degree fov device or a comparable headset is available for under $800.
• I might get an HDR FreeSync 2 monitor a few years down the road depending how well the technology progresses.

Peripherals:
UPS: CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD Pure Sine Wave
Mouse: Razer DeathAdder Elite
Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB LUX - Cherry MX Brown (Upgraded from K70 RGB)
Monitor #1: Qnix QX2710 1st gen (Can overclock to 135Hz Refresh Rate, 120Hz reliably, but I leave it at 90Hz to sync with my ASUS monitor in FreeSync. Despite being 300 nits, this PLS monitor is actually brighter than my previous S-IPS monitor's 380 nits, so much so that I had to lower the brightness. PLS is touted to have brighter whites whereas IPS has darker blacks - I can confirm this is true.)
Monitor #2: ASUS MG279Q (The new panel I bought has no dead pixels or back light bleed unlike what many users complain about with this 'panel lottery' when replacing their monitors.)
Monitor #3: ASUS MG279Q (I got this panel free when I asked for a refund due to a single vertical yellow line going across the right side of the screen. It was an issue at first but after realizing it's only noticeable during blue or black scenes/images, I decided to continue using it. Had it been any other colored line, it probably would have been too noticeable and I'd need a replacement. Fortunately, there are no discernible dead pixels I can find but there is a little back light bleed up top.)
Headphones: Philips Fidelio X2
Headphone Amp: Schiit Magni 2 Uber
Headphone DAC: Schiit Modi 2 Uber
Microphone: Antlion Audio ModMic 4.0 Uni-Directional w/ Mute
Speakers: Pair of Infinity Reference 152s (Upgraded from Altec Lansing ACS31)
Amplifier: Arcam Delta 290 Integrated Amplifier

Laptop System:
Model: Dell Inspiron 1545 (Summer 2009)
Processor: Core 2 Duo T9500 2.60GHz (Replaced original T6500 2.1GHz)
Memory: 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2-667MHz
Graphics: AMD Mobility Radeon HD 4330
Hard Drive: 256GB Samsung 850 Pro
Monitor: 15.6" 300 Nits Glossy LED (Modded to replace CCFL)
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Plans for Upgrades:
I plan to get a laptop with the following specs for $1000 or less when I find it (and after I get a job):
• Metal Body
• 120Hz+ IPS HDR (or 400+ nits) 17.3" Display
• 512GB+ NVMe SSD or HDD to be upgraded later to SSD
• RTX 2060 or better GPU
• CPU equivalent of 4790K or better (Personally eyeing Ryzen 4000)
Essentially this deal [slickdeals.net]but with a 17.3" screen.

Note about HDR:
The effect is just a bonus until the future when it progresses further. I'm primarily interested in having a brighter display to use my laptop in a sunny environment like my smartphone. Having a bright enough display is the #1 factor for me when purchasing laptops or monitors. Matte displays may reduce glare but everything will still be dark. IPS/PLS is the #2 factor. My threshold for brightness is 350 nits unless the panel type is PLS, then it's 300 nits since PLS produces brighter whites than IPS.

Recommended Stuff
X-Mode Energy Shots [xmshot.com] - Energy shots on tap. Comes in 50oz ($22) and 100oz ($30) towers with 1oz (150mg Caffeine) servings; you get two reusable containers per tower. Comes in Cherry, Tangerine, Jacked Apple, and Watermelon flavors. Watermelon is their newest flavor and has a natural taste. I like each individual flavor and enjoy mixing them. If you drink energy shots often, you can purchase a membership on their website to receive $5 discounts on 100oz towers and free shipping. The 100oz towers are otherwise available for $30 + free shipping on Amazon.

L-Theanine - Naturally found in tea, this works synergistically with caffeine, boosting the cognitive effects while promoting relaxation. Helpful if you want to avoid crashes or jitters. I add this to my energy shots to synergize the effects.

Stepmania w/ Dance Mats - High-intensity interval training that's (imo) more enjoyable than jogging/running. It's an incredible experience if you get it set up with surround sound or Hi-Fi stereo.

Stepmaniaonline.net - Stepmania songpacks.

Zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/simfiles.php - Stepmania songpacks and individual simfiles.
