I hate that this game is delisted. Even more so, I hate that I waited so long to finally play it.

This is a great horror game. It builds tension and suspense by putting you in positions where you can be spooked or ambushed. It honestly feels like a virtual Halloween haunt at times. You never know what's around the next corner or behind the next door. The CSI part of it all is different and positively adds to the overall vibe.

Now its not perfect. You can tell it was an Xbox 360 launch title because the CGI is dated like most other early launch titles. Movement can feel clunky at times, but thankfully its not as bad as the early Resident Evils and their godawful tank controls. Some of the enemies get really repetitive as well.

I'd also recommend seeking out guides on updating the game for use on modern systems to get the best resolution and sound based on your setup.

This game predates Steam achievements and I honestly wish they were there. You do "earn" achievements like you would on the 360 but its just on the chapter review screens.

If you have this in your backlog and are a fan of moody and atmospheric horror games, I'd definitely prioritize giving this one a shot. If you liked Resident Evil 6, at times this feels a lot like it, but it has its own unique charms and the CSI component makes it really unique and different.
