In an era where "innovation" means adding micropayments to a 15-year-old franchise, Alan Hazelden finds a unique mechanic, dresses it up in a design so crisp it comes with vinaigrette dressing on the side, and presents it like it's something he does all the time. Which it is, because he's some sort of puzzle-game-making superhuman.

If you don't play this game, you're not allowed to say you enjoy puzzle games to anyone ever again.

That free online version is a clone of Atomix obviously. But neither Atomix nor the clone are Sokoban games at all, they are basically Ice Sliding puzzle games. Quite different to Sokoban and very different to Sokobond.

There's also a free online version as well http://figlief.pythonanywhere.com/ . I am NOT maintaining that this game is a clone as I haven't played it (nor am I claiming it's a strict no-buy even if it is), but if you are saying the mechanics is different, you could have pointed out in what way because they really look the same.

This game is not actually Atomix clone, it has different mechanics.
Thanks for pointing at watomic though. Will give it a spin till this one goes on sale.

Atomix was a chemical sokoban game, so is katomic(and its Windows clone watomic), the latter two are free.
Don't want to undermine this title, but claims about outstanding innovation in it sound very far-fetched.

if you think about it most games have molecules in them

Reading this has made me really excited to try this game out; I don't know why! But it seems like a cool concept, definitely captured my interest.

cyNickalCyn: The game has been out since last year. This review is based on playtime with the non-Steam version, with 0.2 hours of testing the Steam integration.

Joecit: Sokobond is a very different game to Atomino. Basically the only similarity is the presence of molecules.

I wish this review wouldn't ignore the existense of Atomino for the C64 since adding new graphics to a game made in 1991 isn't "innovation" either.

Seems like an advertising boost comment to me.
Only 0.2 hours on record at this time and not yet released anywhere, especially here on steam, until July 21.

Now if this comment was put in place on the actual release date I wouldn't have any room to be my namesake...
