The game has a pretty tasteful atmosphere and charm to it, pubg meets story rich zombie infested sons of anarchy. It has it's way of insisting that you play at it's desired pace, which I really don't think is a bad thing, it's an experience that is not meant to be rushed and you will appreciate it for that. Resources will be scarce and will potentially gatekeep you from trying certain missions or clearing certain areas, but it all ties into the exploration that will connect you back to the story to help you progress anyways. It's not quite the last of us level but it stands it's own ground as a solid title. I bought it on sale for $25 it was an absolute steal in my opinion, definitely buy it on sale, if you are really into this genre I could understand the $50 price tag. Cheers

Gameplay is great, very captivating characters, satisfying gun aquisition methods, etc.
My one complaint would be consistantly random crashes, which can be really annoying since there's no manual quicksave feature, especially during missions your progress getting wiped.. several times especially in heavy cutscene stages.

I am typically not one to play games of such a dark theme, As my first introductory game in the Witcher frandchise I entered not fully knowing what to expect, I first found out about the game's release from watching streams on Twitch on it's initial release seeing the game at multiple parts within the storyline with not much context. I've played into about 20% of the campaign, taking time doing many side quests and exploring the world and becoming deeply immersed in a beautifully punishing and tastefully brutal world, to where anything you see is able to be explored and reached, A seemingly endless variation of enemies and dangers eagerly waiting to bring you to your end, and the ability if you are devoted enough to fight almost any enemy, even 20 levels over yourself if you so choose to do, *cough cough get rekt leshons*, Acompied by very deep and seemingly ancestral lore, very intimately experienced, since basically all interractions are cutscene based and spoken, which to some may not be enjoyable, but for someone who wants to get more enveloped and captivated in the story it's a quite extraordinary feature not offered by many other games. What I reccomend to take from this game, despite the dark nature which to some can be offputting, and to others quite enjoyable -There is no clear distinction between white and black in the game, factionally - There are only shades of grey, and you will learn that the hard way, without spoiling anything; The game is a fascinating work of art and a notable milestone in RPG and videogame progression overall, and definately an experience to go through yourself, if not sure I reccomend giving it a try, I absolutely think that this game is worth 60 dollars, Let alone the literal HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of potential gameplay WITHOUT DLC, your moneys worth and time's worth will be extremely well rewarded, and If you got the chance to buy it on sale, you got a great deal :)

5/5 ★★★★★
I highly advocate this game.
