Meh.
The concept of this game was good, however the implementation of it was mediocrre all around. I've done pretty much all there is to do without dlc at 64 hours into the game. There isn't much of an end game to this: The only reason to farm better gear is for the dark zone where not many people are playing and you don't get much for killing other players. The players that are there doing pvp typically have the best gear so it is futile to fight them unless you have a full banshee set.
There's only a handful of skills and not much strategy to this, just get into cover and drop clip after clip into the bullet sponge enemies. One of the cheapest techniques the ai uses is to rush you with shotguns while having millions of hit points.
