!! MINOR SPOILERS!! Out of the all the resident evil games ive played, village will always be my favourite. The way you just step into the game and its so eerie from the get go, The crazy bosses like the unusually large fetus you have to avoid and others i wont spoil! I loved all the weapons and the shop system they put into the game, the raw emotion from Ethan shown and other characters is amazing. I thought after RE7 this would be the downfall of the first person resident evil era and that the sequel would not live up to the Bakers horrifying atmosphere and analogue horror as seen in RE7 but my god i was wrong... Never a dull moment playing this and its still as good on my second playthrough! The only thing wrong with this game is that theres not an extra 6 hours of lady D screen time:(
