Certainly A mixed bag nowadays. I only ever go on this game to check up on friends, not make new ones.

Back when I first downloaded this game in 2017, this game and it's community was one of the most interesting and entertaining social games I had came across in years. Everyday when I played, It felt like a new adventure. There were many creative and fun worlds to explore. Actual users who were very social, charismatic, and very much memorable. I would often go to the great pug and find many people either trolling and joking around, or people having interesting In depth conversations.

Post Ugandan Knuckles Era, seemed like all the interesting people that drew me towards this game quit and never came back, and now it was just filled with e-celeb chasers and children. I would come often come on in hope of finding anyone interesting, But all I ever got was unstable, mentally ♥♥♥♥♥♥, E-drama producing "friend" circles.

Time and time again, I would befriend and get into friend circles, and all it took was some attention seeking E-girl being Introduced into the groups and then the majority of the circles would show their true colors...

from 2018 till like 2019, many of the friend circles I had got into would either fall apart or unfriend me for petty reasons, and it all came back to E-girls and simps and very petty E-drama being the core cause of all that nonsense. I wish I got all that wasted time in my life back.

As time passed this games community, In my experience, would continue to devolve, I thought It just could not get any worse from what I had to deal with prior.

Current situation as of late March 2022:
The game has a huge grooming problem.

If you're a normal person, you are considered the enemy of the state to some users.

Talking about fitness and taking care of yourself will aggro some users.

Talking about guns or politics will get you blocks or fluoride stares.

Users are much more tribalistic and sometimes hostile towards new users they've never talked to before, so good luck trying to make friends on this game, because you really have to take time out of your day and go out of your way to find decent people.

If you talk to people at the mirrors, you will get insta muted or blocked, despite them being in a PUBIC WORLD, dead quiet and barely talking. Why do some users want to be mute or just straight up not socialize on a game called vrCHAT?

In Conclusion, this game once had a great community, but now, it's trash and mentally unstable.

But that's just from my experiences and many of my friends who've talked about similar experiences.

i wish this game had more code layers. the creators keep trying to justify sticking with blueprints only. which will be hell for modders that would want to move over from gmod.

so far, there's barely any content in the game, but i understand we will have to wait for any content of any kind, as the game was not intended to come out and it planned to be delayed again. but the discord kept crying about the creators delaying it the 5th time, so it was pushed out. so there's a lot of bugs and issues with the game. but it is unfinished.

the game should have just been labeled as early access.

all i gotta say is just wait it out. don't buy it if you are Expecting content. because as of now there's none, and its unfinished. but i do see it growing later on.
