Stay FAR away from Artifact as possible, even if the game was completely free that does not excuse how badly designed, horribly buggy, over-polished and confusing the game is. There is very little to like about the game and that with the LARGE amount of both Trading Card Games, Collectible Card Games, and Online Card Games this stands out among them as both lacking fun, taking a lot of your time, a horrible design and a poorly implemented idea. Even the good ideas are found in other places.

If you WANT a different card game to play I would recommend: Eternal (also on steam), Legends of Runeterra (via Riot Games), Faeria (via lots of places), Magic The Gathering (via it's Arena version or through Epic), GWENT, Lightseekers or even Hearthstone. For tabletop games, almost everything Artifact wants to do well is done better by The Game of Thrones card game (AND THAT CAN SUPPORT MORE THAN TWO PLAYERS AND TAKES LESS TIME ON AVERAGE TO PLAY A SINGLE GAME!).

Even right now they are working on a 2.0 version away from this current client version. There is no reason to play that either it's barely improved, even if it's a little better.

Seriously, I'm warning you, this is one of the worst things you could buy on steam. Don't touch it at all.
