Coming from an Xbox player, this game is completely free in almost all aspects but can be a bit grindy at times (depends what items you're aiming for), this can be sped up by using premium currency, which can also be obtained for free with trading!

However, with the amount of weapon/ frame synergies and mod combos, you can have hours of fun just experimenting. It doesn't stop there either, this game has more content than a majority of recent AAA games. You can partake in PvP, Raiding, Endless survival/ defence missions and even Fishing is a thing now with the recent update!

There's a little for everyone, you might as well give it a shot. Not to mention, this game is heavily optimized.

I've been playing Trove ever since closed beta. Anyone who has been playing that long or played before the Mantle of Power update/expansion will know that Trove is going down a very dark road... The pay 2 win road.
At the current state of the game I cannot recomend.
Lets just hope Trion Worlds realize their mistakes and can get back on the right track.

P.S. Stop running your servers on a god forsaken Egg plant!
