It's a buggy mess, but it's so full of heart and wonderful stories and characters. I love it genuinely and unironically. GOTY for me, 2020.

Edited in 2021 for the steam sale task.

I mean it's fun and all, but it's super short and has no ending. You go to the next screen and then it's cut to credits. It's like the devs gave up halfway through and couldn't even be arsed to make even a low effort ending. There's no sequel, no chapter two, the company hasn't made posts for like 3 to 5 years, depending on twitter or facebook, and even then one of the two last posts on twitter is just a three year old political retweet. The journey was cute and wholesome, the puzzles were fine, but the unskippable and endlessly repeated animations made playing the game a chore. I beat it in 2 hours. RIP.

Incredibly grindy with endless amounts of short, repeated and unskippable animations. When you need to gather hundreds of ingredients and each action requires a click, an animation, another click and an item fade? It's so incredibly slow. The story is predictable, boring and horribly written on top of it.

Still, I played it all the way through. It was better than nothing on a laptop that doesn't really run games anymore!

So I like this game a lot for the combat alone. It's very much in the same vein as the latest DOOM and Wolfenstein. I like the world, there's plenty of things to find and explore. It's a gorgeous game. It's just a shame that it crashes quite often and there's so many bugs, thankfully mostly visual ones. I got this game on a sale and I'm pretty happy with it, but I wouldn't buy it at full price.

This is almost my perfect game. I love it so genuinely. When they added a couple of new buildings I was so happy and excited, but now they're moving on to make new games. I could play this game for years if they'd either keep adding buildings every once in a while or make it moddable. There's only so much you can do, so much you can learn. After that the maps and building placements can become static.

I don't mean to sound negative though, it's literally almost my perfect game. I love it. I recommend it 100% for people who like chill puzzle-flavoured games.

Solid bit of fun at the start, very funny, lovely writing and voice acting, but the game becomes so incredibly repetitive fast. Same ships, same interiors, same infinite loop of gathering junk, shooting / avoiding bad guys and moving on. Can't recommend at this price ($29.99)

Played the free to play game. Joined a full server after queueing for a couple of minutes. Played what was basically a singleplayer game. I met one person at the very start, another newbie like me, and then I spent literally three hours completely alone, running around the country side. The next day I spent another two hours looting and building up a small arsenal, then I went to the coast to try and find other players. I found one. He asked me to kill him.

The game is buggy as hell. I had my arms stuck in the blocking position for a while, so everytime I fired a gun it'd shoot up into the air. Zombies would get stuck on geometry but instead of being sitting ducks, my bullets would juse phase through them harmlessly. Sometimes they'd stay there, sometimes they'd fix themselves and charge me. Sometimes when going down stairs my guy would suddenly leap forward and take fall damage.

The game feels cool at times and I'd definitely buy it for $10. I'm not paying $55 for a buggy, ugly, broken mess that feels like a singleplayer game.
