They've done a wonderful job with this remaster. Gracesƒ doesn't have the most memorable story, and many of the side characters are forgettable. But the main group is so lovable and the battle system is very engaging. Asbel and Sophie make a great pair of protagonists. There are many quality of life improvements brought to this remaster that make the gameplay so much smoother and more accessible. I still own my PS3 copy and I honestly don't think I'll ever touch it again because of how impressed I am with this remaster. Super happy and glad to see they treated this one well. I hope Gracesƒ reaches many new players. It would be amazing to see more mothership titles remastered with this same love and care.

Really moving game.
As someone who has not yet played Gris, to me this felt like a blend of Hollow Knight, Journey, and Princess Mononoke.

The game itself is very linear, but it makes up for this in its fluid gameplay and beautiful visuals.
I really loved the artwork. The backgrounds and foregrounds were so well done and created all kinds of different atmospheres perfectly.

It was a short game, I got through it in about 6 hours and I just need to go back and round up a few collectibles. I would have loved more play time and exploration, but as it is Neva is a wonderful gem.

I wanted to enjoy this game and I love the concept behind it, but ultimately it just felt like it was missing something. I can't recommend it.

✅ I did like the exploration aspect and various puzzles and the way the game makes you think about how to use your spells. The battles were interesting and there isn't any severe consequence if you mistype. The voice acting wasn't stellar but I didn't mind, I thought the way the characters spoke fit with the game's atmosphere.

❌Controls can be awkward at times. You easily get stuck and trapped on ordinary rocks and plants, to the point where they had to put in a respawn button in the pause menu. If you want/need to backtrack it's very tedious. The plot meandared and the ending felt rushed to say the least. And the biggest crime of all is that the poison sound effect won't. ever. stop. You literally have to reboot the game for it to go away... tssssss.

You get a taskmaster and the devs donate to the Extra Life charity. Not bad.

(If you are having trouble getting Dr Theo to show up in your game, this worked for me: Close your game. Go to manage your DLC. Uncheck the Install box. Restart Steam. Go back and check the Install box, start your game and voilà.)

At one point this game will try to trick you into believing one of your friends is messaging you. *hollow laughter* 0/10

Perfect for anyone who's ever wanted to make their eyes feel even more weary and tired.

An incredibly beautiful and entertaining romance game. Honestly my first playthrough had me hooked and I came home from work every day and jumped right into the game. A good story, actual romance, fun gameplay, interesting combat, and it's not a visual novel. It's not a visual novel! Yu and Kay feel like a real couple that go through their ups and downs all while trying to survive. The music is fantastic and really does wonders for sealing the atmosphere and tone of the game and its world. I still listen to the soundtrack from time to time when I'm working or studying. The devs are great and just recently added some costumes and content to the game, for free.

Did I mention this is a romance game that isn't just some point-and-click visual novel???
