Does it improve gameplay? like more enemies? dont care about replayability. as long as the DLC adds extra content to the existing gameplay or adds new missions to extend the story im happy

try to see if its VRAM usage which is causing the issue, most likely not as making the page file change didnt help.

or use 1 card, could be an SLI issue.

It had to do with page file usage. Set it to windows auto and VRAM usage was fine.

The game uses 11GB vram in the syria opening scene. And the game crashes

For some reason DX12 uses more memory than DX11.

What gives?

Techpowerup only measured 7GB max usage at 4k @ Very high preset (https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Performance_Analysis/Rise_of_the_Tomb_Raider/4.html)

DX11 runs fine separately
Vulkan runs fine separately

DX12 hangs after Part 2 (ie before MT test can start)

6700k + GTX 1070

Then I cant run the 3dmark anymore because its still running (even after end taskin it). have to end task steam to start again.

Running on a R9 Nano, and always on 60fps the game seems to stutter (not smooth) on DX12 mode.

Drivers are 16.11.4. Anyone else gets the same issue?

Doesnt happen on DX11 mode.

I went to the Beta tab and selected patch 8. Its still updating. Even tried restarting steam.

Do I have to wait for the current one to complete, then roll back?
