RO is one of the best MMOs I've ever played. My opinion of the game is definitely going to be biased since I've been playing since close to the beginning, way back on old iRO Sakray. But from the start, I loved the monsters, the soundtrack, the towns, the combat system, the variety of hats and costumes, you name it. The fast-paced combat is enjoyable and even grinding can be fun. Questing still leaves a lot to be desired, especially compared to more modern MMORPGs. Regardless, iRO is pretty good at keeping players interested in the game with frequent events, new items and updates. I'm not surprised it's still going all these years later. And while I play very on and off these days, I'll always treasure the memories of times spent with friends adventuring and growing strong together.

LoveKami -Useless Goddess- is a romantic visual novel centered around Akane, a 'useless' goddess who causes more trouble than a goddess should. She has to acclimate to human society accompanied by the shy, beloved fellow goddess Inori and Maika, your landlord and childhood friend. You all must work to help the rebellious Akane get her act together before it's too late. With their own distinct personalities, any of the three girls can be chosen as your love interest and each route is charming and fun in its own way. There are a couple hilarious and lewd scenes that appear throughout the course of the story. The character art was expressive with beautiful scenery, great voice acting and a bubbly soundtrack. Coming in at just shy of 4 hours with all achievements, I find faster-paced visual novels like LoveKami -Useless Goddess- really enjoyable. I'd recommend it to any fans of the genre.

I'll admit, my expectations aren't very high when it comes to hentai games, but Last Evil was a pleasant surprise. I liked the card-based battle system and some of the scenes were really hot (especially the ones with the Merchant). Each playthrough is a fresh experience as you build your deck from scratch and come up with new strategies to conquer the champions and boss of each area. Character customization with unlockable outfits was a nice added bonus.

This is one I know I'll come back to, not just to watch the lewd scenes but for a game that was unexpectedly fun. The hard mode also makes for a good challenge. Props to the creators, I'm excited to see what they come up with next.

A lot of love went into this game and it shows. The hand-drawn art is gorgeously detailed, it felt like being transported into an illustrated storybook. I enjoyed navigating my way through each scene and, while the puzzles weren't too difficult, they gave my brain a nice little workout. I completed it one 2-hour sitting but look forward to trying the bonus achievements sometime in the future. If you're in the mood for a unique puzzle mystery, you will probably enjoy Gorogoa.

Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation was my first entry into the Neptunia Series, and I'm so glad it was. This story made me laugh and legit cry, I had an absolute blast while falling in love with the CPUs and Oracles. The battles were addicting and I loved all the little side missions and things to do, like finding cute costumes and powerful equips for your team. There are many different endings, some trickier to get than others, but ultimately I felt they were all worth doing. I enjoyed almost every moment and will forever treasure this game.

There's something weirdly satisfying about Slime Rancher. I don't know if it's the insane physics, the sound effects, the slime behaviors or the discovery elements, but I loved every part of it and can't wait to see what Monomi Park have in store for us in the future.

Sweet Fantasy is a short & sweet visual novel with some hella lewd scenes. My wife and I finished the game in one sitting on a quiet evening. The scenes were very beautifully illustrated and the plot, though brief, had some genuinely funny moments that had us giggling our heads off. If you're a fan of monster girls or yuri, I'd say it's worth checking out.

A fun little time killer where you play as the typical hellspawn cat, on a solo mission to destroy anything and everything you come across. Level design is solid, mechanics are fun and the game runs well, even on somewhat older devices.
