Thanks pal! I appreciate it!
I'm currently learning how to make and port models for SFM, and I'm getting tired of waiting for people to post the models I want onto The Models Resource. So I'm hoping to learn how to rip them myself. If anyone knows how, and/or knows where I can find a tutorial on how to rip models from SADX, please let me know. Thanks!

I keep trying to load the map bm_c0a0a from black mesa into source fimmaker. But whenever I try to open it in SFM, the game stops responding and then crashes all together. If ANYBODY knows how to fix this, then please share!

In topic Animating at 60 FPS Help
For movies, 24 fps is standard. For games, it's usually 30 to 60 fps.
Actually, forget my last comment. I fixed it. For anyone else encountering the same problem I did: uninstall the NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Driver.
For some reason when I try to import a model, the model selection window only shows a blank white screen. I know that it's just a problem trying to show it, because if I type say, 'player/scout.mdl' and press enter, it loads the model in sfm, but I can't see to browse. Anybody know why it's doing that and how to fix it?

I know the game has mods, and I've used tons of them. I noticed that you didn't mention my favorite mod on your list, the Sonic 06 Project.

Figures that it wouldn't get a workshop, because that would have been helpful. Oh well, thanks anyway. Maybe if enough people want it, SEGA will make it happen.

Does anybody know how and/or if I can start a workshop for a game? I was thinking it would be really cool and convienient if Sonic Generations had its own workshop for all of the mods people make for it.

It has an itemtest feature. I remember using that to convert OBJ files to MDL before I learned Blender. Of course, it's a REALLY bad method, and I'm not even sure it works post-SteamPipe, plus you have to copy the model/material/texture files from Team Fortress 2 to Source FilmMaker yourself.

But if you want to convert OBJ to SMD/DMX to MDL, that's way easier, better, and allows much more customization and such. See above post for tools to convert OBJ to SMD/DMX.
Question: how DO you use blender to convert OBJ to MDL? I tried using the Source SDK itemtest, but all it would show was a black square in the middle of my screen.
