This feels like a tribute to games like Destruction Derby and FlatOut, and I love it. I mainly play online, and about two to four people out of 24 tend to take vehicles like the schoolbus or harvester. This however, makes it a fun object to keep an eye out for these players and do your best to avoid them, all the while you can keep racing (and pushing people off the track!) for that number one spot.
Progression is very nicely done. You can choose any in-game vehicle in online multiplayer, but are only allowed to upgrade vehicles you own. You can purchase vehicles with credits, earned by completing both online or offline races.
This game has really improved over the course of it's Early Access development.
