I own a lot of different periperhals from an X-55 HOTAS, a G600 Mouse, a G13 Keypad, and an X360 controller, all for use on my computer. And after 3 weeks on the Steam Controller, it's replaced all of them.

I won't lie to you; this controller is going to take time to get used to. It is going to require some tweaking to get it to exactly where you want it. But that's part of the draw; it's so extremely customizable, you can make this controller do almost anything! It is, hands down, my favorite peripheral that I own, and is going to replace my keyboard and mouse in 99% of the games that I play.

If you're looking for a pick-up-and-play sort of controller, the Steam Controller might not fit that as well as other controllers. But if you're looking for something that will let you play any of your games anywhere in your house? This is definitely the controller for you.
