United States
Itching that breaks the skin
Quivering to a serene touch
Reminiscing on what won't
Palms sweat
Heart asunder
What torn rags break and leave bleak
Drip dropped
Dark scoured smudges
I once, and am not
Forever in remorse
Casting a gaze upon the throne
To seek golden glory within
The somber tranquil palace
Fire burn into the night
Take this memory,
This body of mine
Break it to the bone,
Bleed it out,
Carnage to reign
My essence askew, ashen to dust
Leave me there, ignorantly plain
To take the throne
In my Somber, Tranquil, Palace.
