Forcing people to link a Playstation account when they have already bought the game is unacceptable, there are a large amount of people who have bought the game, but are now unable to play because PCN isn't available in their home country.

Until the game is made available again in those regions then all sony has to do is flick the switch back on. Keeping my review negative until that changes

Very fun game to pick up / put down and play without too much thought

I don't play PvP games because I don't find them fun (typically)

Played this during the free weekend, uninstalled because there is no matchmaking. Getting destroyed by people 5x your level isnt fun.

I'll say that you CAN come and enjoy this game if you enjoy doing anything other than marksmanship.

I have confirmation from a dev that the guns are bad on purpose to stop everyone becoming snipers, which is fair, but it's /so/ bad that if you want to shoot at anything beyond 50m, then you may as well be rolling the dice. Even the sharpshooter rifles (the confederate sharpshooter rifle has 95/100 accuracy!!) have this problem.

If you will enjoy playing support, artilery, pioneer (engineer), or short range shooting, then you won't have any issues, apart from the melee being jank as hell right now. If you're here just for the long range marksmanship, I would look elsewhere or get used to missing for no reason over and over.

If you enjoy the half life series, I highly recommend playing this. One of the best pieces of community content out there for the HL IP.

Customisable, infinitely changeable, mods, yes.

The AI finally don't have magical know-it-all senses.

The community ISMC mod series is really fun.

If you have experienced trauma in your life, playing this game is NOT advised.

Spoiler box as to why -> There are heavy themes of mental illness and suicide by gun. These events are triggered randomly by picking up tapes; the main objective of this game. They /CAN/ be disabled by an option in the settings however.

Despite the above spoiler, which /CAN/ be disabled, this game features themes of mental illness, primarily depression and suicide. Unlike Reciever 1, which does not feature these themes.

However with that all said and done, this is a nicely polished, albeit short game focusing on detailed gun safety and interaction.

If you are good at FPS games and learn quickly, you can expect to beat the game in it's entirety at around 4-6 hours. There is more content to get in the form of repeat playthroughs, allowing you to gather floppy discs which provide side content, and tapes gathered in certain levels will play different content.

Go play Men of War: Assault Squad 2 with a workshop mod that brings modern units, it'll be 20x better than this.
